Aims and Tasks

In the following chapters, you will learn how you can recognize and distinguish different elementary particles. You will need this knowledge for the following measurements. On the one hand you can identify the inner structure of the proton and on the other hand you will look for a new particle that has not been discovered yet – the Higgs-particle.
