Be sure to name the file exactly like this, and place it on your desktop.
Go to google docs by following this link and sign in with the username (Email) and password given to you by your instructors.
Find the folder with the correct date and the correct Masterclass host-institution.
How to upload your file to Google:
Save the file as an .xls file if you are using a Windows machine or .ods file if using a Linux machin, using the "Save As"
option in Open Office or Excel. Your file should be called exactly groupX.ods or .xls where X is the eventfolder you analysed
(so if you analysed events in folder A, your file should be called groupA.ods or groupA.xls)
Then
- go to the google document page and click on "Upload" (top left)
- click on the "Select files to upload"
- use the file browser to locate your spreadsheet file "groupX.xls", click "Open"
- IMPORTANT: remove the tick mark in front of "Convert documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and drawings to the corresponding Google Docs formats"
- at the bottom you can choose "Destination folder", click here and navigate to "Z" → "todays date" → "your institute” and click "OK"
- click "Start Upload"
If you now see a green V in front of the filename you have uploaded the file successfully! So Congratulations – you have delivered your measurement!
If you did not succeed in your upload, ask one of the tutors around!
Here you get back to the analysis page of the Z-Path.
