Research at the Physics Department of the Udine University focuses on physics of fundamental interactions, astrophysics, solid physics, applied physics and educational physics. In particular, research on physics of fundamental interactions deals with experimental and theoretical aspects of elementary particle interactions. Our Institute is also deeply involved in the development of detector technologies and their application. The experimental groups participate to experiments at major High Energy Physics accelerators and to astroparticle experiments.
