Research & Teaching The Department of Physics, Informatics and Mathematics of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia carries out research activities in several fields of Physics, Informatics and Mathematics. Many research activities are performed in collaboration with several research institutes, as CNR Istituto Nanoscienze, National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN) and European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). The Department offers Bachelor and Master degrees in Physics, in Informatics and in Mathematics. The M.Sc. in Physics is an international course and it is entirely taught in English.

Outreach Besides research and university teaching, the Department of Physics, Informatics and Mathematics is involved in the spread of scientific culture with several events addressed to schools and public. Department Outreach web site
