Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering (FNSPE) is one of many faculties of Czech Technical University in Prague (founded 1707). Our faculty offers studies and research opportunities in the field of modern technologies such as nuclear and particle physics. Particle physics is studied mainly by the group of Experimental Nuclear and Particle Physics, part of the Department of Physics. The group main goals are detector development, data analysis, software and electronics development and theory. Our colleagues are part of international collaborations working at CERN, BNL, Pierre Auger Observatory and other research institutes around the world.
Our faculty offers bachelor, master and Ph.D. programs in a variety of specializations, apart from nuclear and particle physics, our students can choose to study laser optics, solid state physics, electronics, theory and mathematics.
