Research & Teaching
The Institute of Physics was established in 1991 and maintains research and education in various disciplines of both theoretical and experimental physics.
Research:
In the field of theoretical physics the Institute is oriented on a wide range of areas including the theory of gravitation, theory of elementary particles, the quantum field theory and their applications in astrophysics and cosmology. In the experimental physics the specific area of interest is physics of ionizing radiation.
Education:
Our Institute provides following study:
Bachelor's programmes - Astrophysics, Monitoring of Environment, Computer Technics and its Applications, and Multimedia Techniques.
Master's programmes - Theoretical Physics and Computational Physics.
Doctoral (Ph.D.) study - Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics.
