Research & Teaching
The Institute of Physics at Graz University comprises four sections:
- Geophysics, Astrophysics and Meteorology
(main research topics atmospere and climate, solar physics and near space),
- Experimental physics
(magnetometry, surace physics, optics and photonics),
- Theoretical physics
(subatomic physics, solid state physics).
- Didactics of physics
(teacher education and Training).
Diploma and doctoral studies are offered as well as physics lecturers for science students.
